Web Classes

These web classes give you the ability to learn key concepts either on your own or as part of a team.

We keep the technology simple: a web meeting with audioconference that we record for the people who miss it, supported with a class web page to store downloads, reference materials and homework assignments.

Throughout the class, you have access to Katherine to help you complete your homework assignment. Your registration includes the teleconference, recorded audio, course workbook to be delivered in sections, additional reference materials and presentation slides.

Here are the offerings for 2009/2010:

• Lean Development Basics
  
  An introduction to lean principles, practices and tools for strategy, technology and product development.
  
  
• Lean Thinking in Front End Product Development
  
  This course teaches best practices for using lean thinking from product strategy development through concept evaluation. We explicitly cover how to integrate marketing, sales and business line leadership into these early stages, and how to leverage a company's operational excellence program (including lean enterprise and Six Sigma) to gain support for this work.
