Workshops and Group Learning Experiences

We believe that training is only one of many things that must work together to drive improvements in product development.

For some things - learning how to effectively share knowledge or speed decision-making, for example - workshops rapidly spread new skills among your teams while reinforcing the importance of the need to change and providing opportunities to set new performance expectations.

The training we provide is action-oriented to help the adult learner get the most out of the time spent in class. We use one of two methods to develop hands-on experience with new skills, depending upon the audience and the content of the workshop:

• Direct problem-solving: each participant brings a problem drawn from a current project to work on during class.
• Simulations: a case study or a simulation provides hands-on experience by providing a project that is scaled so that people can participate in an entire process from start-to-finish in a single workshop.

In all of our workshops, each participant completes an Action Planning exercise to help him or her commit to using the new skills right away, to reinforce the learnings and maximize the immediate ROI from the workshop experience.
